"Lord, if it is you, command me to come to you on the water."
Everyday, like Peter, we have opportunities to step out of the boat. The boat could be anything that provides us with a comfort zone. It could be our homes, our communities, our churches. What is Jesus asking of us exactly? I think He's telling us that when we take a risk in His name and reach out to others to whom we have difficulty, we stretch our hearts to hold more love. The more we love, the more we become like He Who is love.
